Get the Mobile App and just look over what coverage you have. It’s nice that it’s all laid out for you and you can see what you’ve used.

AndreaWhat's your job title and where do you work? I’m a teacher at Steele Heights Junior High School

How long have you had ASEBP benefits? Since 2014

Describe ASEBP in a word or two: Convenient

Describe yourself in a word or two: Outgoing and athletic

What do you like to do outside of work? Run, coach and hang out with my family

What does a typical day look like for you?

I teach physical education, leadership and health to grade 7-9 students. I love to volunteer my time to give back to our school community. I’ve coached soccer, volleyball, basketball, handball and flag rugby, and I also direct our school’s musical. This year we’re doing Beauty and the Beast—I’m really excited for it! It's a lot of extra time, but it’s so important to me to connect with students outside of the classroom and give them a safe place where they can express themselves through athletics or arts.

What do you enjoy most about ASEBP and/or your ASEBP benefits?

The variety. Before I got pregnant, I mostly just used my benefits for massages. When I was expecting in early 2018, I used the massage, chiropractor and physiotherapy benefits, and also used my benefits to buy compression socks. I was also able to use my Health Spending Account credits towards my husband’s laser eye surgery and to pay for some of my glasses.

Do you have any tips to make the most of your benefits that you think others might find useful?

Are you a My ASEBP website or Mobile App person? Why?

Mobile App—I always have my phone on me, so it’s easy to take pictures of receipts and upload them for claims.
