Join our Facebook Live conversation at 11:30 a.m. on June 2 to hear from ASEBP's lead pharmacist, Ollie Semonis, where he'll share his clinical perspectives on how improved sleep, nutrition, activity, relaxation, and reduced stress all work to improve our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Physical Well-being

Sleep can be viewed as the cornerstone of achieving quality long-term health. Ollie shares that we're all unique in our sleep needs, which can change throughout our lives. When it comes to managing sleep issues, he encourages us to look beyond the quick medication fix towards a longer-term solution.

Nutritionally speaking, Ollie prefers the term ‘lifestyle’ rather than ‘diet’, and one that you can easily maintain for years or a lifetime. Hear his thoughts on fad diets, moderation, variety, and more.

Most of us have heard the term “move it or lose it,” which applies to the body and its need for consistent movement to continue supporting us over the years. Ollie shares his ideas on choosing activities that are enjoyable (for you) and sustainable.

Mental Well-being

We all experience stress at points in our lives, and while sometimes beneficial in small amounts, experiencing stress over a long period can have significant negative effects. Ollie will share insight into identifying and managing your stress.

Spiritual Well-being

Maintaining a healthy spirit can include many things like interacting with friends and family, cuddling a beloved pet, or enjoying time with your plants. Hear how an uplifted spirit is part of the wellness equation.
